- 2024
smalltribe is still in the old office on Könneritzstraße. We look around for something bigger, with more possibilities. And with the idea of not just renting an office, but making a place, for us and for others.
- November 2024
A house in the courtyard of Karl-Heine-Straße becomes available. Still a bare shell, but the direction is clear right away. The first conversations with the owner go well, moodboards and materials convince. After two or three weeks the details are settled and the lease is signed.
- Winter 2024/25
During the construction phase we are already tenants and constantly on site. The interior takes shape in parallel: conceived and designed by us, realized with friends, smow and Studio Boehnke & Haasch from Leipzig.
- March 2025
From February to April the house is furnished: tables, sofa, Focus Room, Meeting Room, the net, the roof terrace. In March we move in.
- Today
Eight members, the first workshops, dinners and talks. And a journal that tells what is happening right now.
From bare shell to house
Scaffolding in summer 2024, bare shell in November, move-in in March 2025. In between, moodboards, samples and furniture from smow and Studio Boehnke & Haasch.
